Dr. Shah finished medical training at the Northwestern University Medical School Chicago, IL and the General Surgical Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital New York, NY. he completed his training in Colon and Rectal Surgery as a Fellow at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago/Cook County Hospital where he was also an instructor for the international laparoscopic colon surgery course.
